I am 33 yrs of age now and after spending over 10 yrs working in the hospitality industry I progressed from Kitchen porter to Head chef overtime. I then decided to change my career to the beauty industry and after obtaining my ITEC qualification went on to open my own beauty salon mainly focusing on eyelash extension application. I have a keen interest in special effects make up which gave way to my salon name ”NewlookFX” as in ”effects!” I have now decided to take the business another way in order to create a website full of tips and tricks on beauty, lifestyle and food whilst also selling beauty items I know REALLY work. Well…. they worked for me and real people I know!

I now cook at home as a hobby and have decided to put together the recipes I came upon and messed around with over the yrs. I’m not one for diets because I love my food and everything fatty and sugary to be honest! Sometimes you just want to really look forward to your dinner! It shouldn’t be a chore, you should enjoy and savour every bite. I’ve never been able to just sit still and settle on doing just one thing so I would like to share with you all the best bits I’ve found out about life so far! I am passionate about animals and plan to open an animal rescue centre in the future also! WE only get one life so why not try a bit of everything!?
